What I Watched in 2020

One good thing about 2020 is that we didn’t have to feel guilty about watching TV since there was literally nothing else to do. Here’s what I watched, best as I can remember.

Tiger King (didn’t everybody?)
Outbreak
Springsteen on Broadway
Salt Fat Acid Heat
Unorthodox
The Plot Against America
The Eddy
Succession, seasons 1 and 2
Watchman
Great British Baking Show, latest season
The Crown, latest season
Olive Kitteridge
Queen’s Gambit
Narcos, seasons 1 and 2
The Social Dilemma
Baptiste (PBS Masterpiece)
Roadkill (PBS Masterpiece)
True Detective, seasons 1, 2, and 3

I’m sure there was more but this is what stood out.

I always love the Great British Baking Show – it’s so comforting in a pandemic. I loved the Eddy – it’s French and takes place in a jazz club so good music. I loved Succession, even though at first you hate all the characters but then they start to grow on you. True Detective season 1 was good, 2 and 3 not so much. I’ve enjoyed the Crown as well.

Actually, I like everything on the list, although I think Watchman had some problematic plot points and we had to look up plot summaries for all the True Detective season 2 and 3 episodes after we watched then!
